Post 273: CAS Card (Celebrate Today)

Hi peeps :)

How are you this Tuesday afternoon?
I'm having a little giveaway to celebrate my 1st blog anniversary. In case, you'd like to participate, all the details are here.

I'd like to share a Clean and Simple Card. This was made for a Guest Design Post Stencils, all the details are here.

For this Celebration Card, I sponged on Manganese Blue Archival ink through the Stencil to create the bird which was fussy cut. Then, did watercoloring on a watercolor panel to create the ombre look of the sky. Stamped on the sentiment and adhered the bird to the panel. In the end, added a few half pearls for embellishment.

Supplies Used:
CrafTreat Layered Stencil- Poppy
Cutplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectange Die
Uniko Stamp- Simply Said
Ranger's Archival Inkpad-Manganese Blue
White Cardstock 250 gsm
Camlin Watercolors
Aqua Brush
3d Foam Tape
Canson Watercolor Paper

Here is a photo of the card:

I am playing along with the following challenges:

TIME OUT Challenge #92 (was inspired by the quote, specially the words, "paint" "flying" and "bird")

  2. What a fantastic CAS design!! I love the colouring of the bird with the stencil and that panel is beautifully watercoloured too. And love that wonky stitching around the outside. Its perfect for our challenge and I'm so glad you shared it with us at TIME OUT!
